Radłów, known in German as Radlau, is a rural municipality located in the Opole Voivodeship, within Olesno County. From 1946 to 1952, it functioned as the municipality of Sternalice. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality was part of the Częstochowa Voivodeship. Radłów covers an area of 116.73 km², of which 59% is agricultural land and 36% is forested. In 2007, German was introduced as an auxiliary language, reflecting the region’s rich cultural heritage. The seat of the municipality is the town of Radłów, which had a population of 4,427 people according to 2013 data. Demographically, 28% of residents declared German nationality, highlighting the complex nature of this community.
