St. Lawrence Church in Łomnica

St. Lawrence Church in Łomnica, located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, is a Roman Catholic temple built on a cruciform plan in 1770. Its unique architecture features a centrally placed pseudo-dome, topped with a narrower lantern. The church's interior impresses with rich Baroque furnishings, including altars, an organ, two confessionals, a pulpit, paintings, and polychromes. These elements not only highlight the cultural value of the temple but also reflect the artistic and religious tastes of the time. In front of the church stand two late Baroque sandstone statues of saints, further enriching the sacred space. In the immediate vicinity, there is a historic wooden belfry from 1770 and an 18th-century gate, forming a cohesive architectural complex that testifies to the region's historical traditions.
