Zbąszyń is an urban-rural municipality located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within the Nowy Tomyśl County. Its administrative seat is the town of Zbąszyń, which between 1975 and 1998 belonged to the Zielona Góra Voivodeship. The municipality covers an area of 179.77 km², of which 38% is agricultural land and 50% is forested. In 2017, the population of the municipality was 13,748. In Zbąszyń and its surroundings, you can find numerous village districts such as Chrośnica, Nądnia, Nowa Wieś, and Stefanowo, as well as other smaller localities like Czerwony Dwór and Szklana Huta.
