wikipedia
St. Leonard's Church in Troszyn Polski is a historic wooden religious building constructed in 1636, representing a log structure. Rectangular in plan, the church is a single-nave building with a three-sided closed chancel, oriented and currently covered with a sheet metal gable roof. The architecture of the object also includes a sacristy and a side porch on the northern wall, as well as a main porch from the west. An interesting element is the square bell turret located on the roof ridge. The interior of the church houses valuable monuments, including late Renaissance altars: the main one with the painting "The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary" from 1640 and a side altar with the image of "St. Leonard" from the 19th century. Additionally, the pulpit and an 18th-century positive organ in a Baroque case, featuring six voices and 45 keys, constitute significant cultural elements. The positive organ is equipped with a slider windchest and has both wooden and metal pipes. On the church grounds, one can see a modern screen-type belfry, brick-built and wood-clad, which further enhances the charm of this place. St. Leonard's Church is not only an example of traditional religious architecture but also an important point in the cultural heritage of the Masovian region, combining history with local religious traditions.
