Staszów

The Staszów Commune, located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within the Staszów County, is an urban-rural commune with its seat in the town of Staszów. Between 1975 and 1998, it belonged to the Tarnobrzeg Voivodeship. The commune covers an area of 225.86 km², of which 59% is agricultural land and 34% is forested. According to data from 2019, the commune is inhabited by 25,599 people, a number that has slightly decreased since 2009. The commune includes numerous localities, such as Czajków, Kurozwęki, and Wiśniowa, which form an integral part of the local community.
