Stryków is an urban-rural municipality located in the Łódź Voivodeship, within the Zgierz County, with its administrative office situated in the town of Stryków itself. The municipality has been part of Poland's map for many years, having belonged to the former Łódź Voivodeship between 1975 and 1998. Covering an area of 157.90 km², the land use in the municipality is diverse, with 78% allocated to agricultural purposes and 13% to forested areas.
