The Podstolice Manor, dating back to around 1870, is a historic wooden structure with a cellar, a high ground floor, and an upper floor, located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. The 1,200 m² building is surrounded by a beautiful, century-old park with a pond, which enhances its architectural and aesthetic appeal. The history of the estate dates back to the 15th century when it was owned by the Rogowski brothers, and later passed into the hands of many prominent families, such as the Czechowskis, Zebrzydowskis, and Lipskis. Over the centuries, the manor changed owners multiple times, resulting in a diversity of styles and functions. In the 19th century, the Kierski family began constructing a new manor, but due to financial difficulties, it was not completed until 1870. Shortly afterward, the estate was taken over by the Prussian state. In the 20th century, the manor was leased to various individuals, and after World War II, it came under state management. Since 1992, the property has been owned by Anna and Andrzej Kareński, who adapted the manor into a hotel and restaurant while also organizing various cultural events, including concerts and performances, contributing to its revitalization and the promotion of local traditions. Interestingly, in the early 20th century, there were plans to redesign the park, but the project was never realized. The Podstolice Manor stands as a witness to centuries of regional history and a place that blends tradition with modernity.
