Trzebieszów is a rural municipality located in the Lublin Voivodeship, within the Łuków County, with its administrative seat in the town of Trzebieszów. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality was part of the Siedlce Voivodeship. As of December 31, 2007, the municipality had a population of 7,559. Its total area is 140.45 km², of which 80% is agricultural land and 14% is forested. The municipality covers 10.07% of the area of Łuków County. Trzebieszów is home to the Kania Nature Reserve, which protects unique deciduous forest communities, including the rare for Poland oak-sedge woodland. The municipality consists of numerous villages, such as Gołowierzchy, Jakusze, Mikłusy, and Wólka Konopna. Neighboring municipalities include Kąkolewnica, Łuków, Międzyrzec Podlaski, and Zbuczyn. Despite its relatively small size, Trzebieszów boasts rich natural and cultural resources that attract both residents and tourists, offering unique experiences related to local flora and regional architecture.
