Urszulin, formerly the Wola Wereszczyńska municipality, is a rural commune in the Lublin Voivodeship, located in Włodawa County. The seat of the commune, Urszulin, was part of the Chełm Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998. The commune covers an area of 171.62 km², of which 56% is agricultural land and 23% is forested. Urszulin Commune constitutes 13.66% of the entire county's area, and according to data from June 2004, its population was 4,062 inhabitants. The commune includes numerous villages (sołectwa), such as Andrzejów, Babsk, Dębowiec, and Wereszczyn, as well as smaller settlements like Andrzejów-Osada and Dyszczytno. Urszulin is characterized by a picturesque landscape typical of the region, dominated by agricultural and forested areas, which may be attractive to nature lovers and rural tourism enthusiasts.
