Zabierzów Municipality, located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Kraków County, is an area rich in history and diverse architecture. Established on August 1, 1934, as a collective municipality, it underwent administrative changes over the years, survived the period of Nazi occupation, and was reinstated after World War II within its pre-war borders. As of the end of 2022, the municipality had 29,267 residents and consists of numerous villages, including Zabierzów, which serves as its administrative seat.
Zabierzów is home to many valuable historical monuments, such as the Radziwiłł Palace in Balice and numerous churches, including the parish in Bolechowice with its Gothic church.
