The Zbuczyn Commune, located in the Masovian Voivodeship within Siedlce County, has its administrative seat in the town of Zbuczyn. Established in 1973, the commune was part of the Siedlce Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998. It covers an area of 210.75 km², of which 79% is agricultural land and 14% is forested. As of June 30, 2004, the commune had a population of 10,086, which increased to 10,106 by the end of 2019. Zbuczyn is characterized by a rich structure of village administrations, comprising 36 village districts (sołectw) and several localities without this status. Among these are Borki-Kosy, Grodzisk, Izdebki, and Zawady. The commune borders municipalities such as Łuków, Międzyrzec Podlaski, and Siedlce.
