Łosice Deanery

The Łosice Deanery, part of the Diocese of Siedlce, comprises 13 parishes, including the Parish of St. Adalbert in Górki and the Parish of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Makarówka. Architecturally, many churches in this region are characterized by traditional styling, often drawing on local building traditions, which seamlessly blend into the regional landscape. The history of the deanery dates back to the Middle Ages, and some of its parishes boast historic buildings and architectural elements that testify to a long and rich heritage. Culturally, the Łosice Deanery is a place where Catholic traditions are upheld by numerous faithful; it has approximately 25,180 parishioners, reflecting the strong bond between the local community and the Church. Interestingly, the deanery hosts numerous local festivals and religious events that attract both residents and tourists, as well as various initiatives aimed at fostering community integration. Additionally, it borders several other deaneries, creating a regional network of cooperation and cultural exchange.
