Świdnica County, located in northwestern Poland within the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, was reestablished in 1999 as part of the administrative reform. Historically, Świdnica County was established on October 1, 1954, in the Koszalin Voivodeship and has since undergone several administrative reforms.
