wikipedia
The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Roman Catholic temple located in the Radymno II deanery of the Archdiocese of Przemyśl. The church was consecrated in 1740 and was founded by the auxiliary bishop of Chełm, Józef Antoni Łaszcz. Built in the Baroque style, the church has a rectangular floor plan measuring 23 by 9 meters. It features a tall, 23-meter-high façade, to which a classic L-shaped monastery is attached, surrounding the temple on two sides. The façade is divided by vertical pilasters, and at its center is a window that illuminates the music choir. In 1978, statues of Christ the Lord, the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, and other saints were placed in its niches. Above the main entrance, inscriptions indicate the dates of construction and renovation. The church originally had a shingled roof, which is now covered with sheet metal. The interior, once adorned with six altars, now focuses on the main altar featuring the image of Our Lady of Częstochowa. Historically, the temple has rich traditions associated with Marian devotion. Interestingly, until 1970, two side altars were preserved but were dismantled to increase the church's space. The Church of the Immaculate Conception is an important spiritual landmark in the region, combining architectural, historical, and cultural values.
