The Fort XII Werner Museum in Żurawica, located in the village of Żurawica in the Przemyśl County, is an interesting museum institution housed in Fort XII "Werner," which is part of the Przemyśl Fortress. The fort was opened to visitors in 2010 and is a private initiative of Sławomir Golonka. The museum features a rich exhibition focusing on the history of the fort and World War I. Among the exhibits are military items, uniforms, military equipment, furniture, everyday objects, as well as documents and photographs related to the wartime period. An interesting feature of the museum is the reconstructed World War I dugouts and dioramas depicting skirmishes from World War II. Additionally, since 2014, the museum has housed the Regional Art Gallery, which promotes local artists and is supported by the Local Tourist Organization in Przemyśl. The museum is open year-round and offers room rentals and the organization of special events. It is also worth noting that the museum charges an admission fee, which contributes to the maintenance of this valuable cultural institution.
