Górzyca is a rural municipality located in the Lubusz Voivodeship, within the Słubice County, with its administrative seat in the town of Górzyca. Covering an area of 145.55 km², the municipality is largely used as agricultural land (69%) and forested areas (18%). Before 1999, it was part of the Gorzów Voivodeship. According to data from June 2009, it is home to 4,186 people. Within the municipality lies the Pamięcin Nature Reserve, which protects unique steppe plant communities.
