Grodzisk Wielkopolski

Grodzisk Wielkopolski is an urban-rural municipality in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, with its seat in the town of Grodzisk Wielkopolski. Between 1975 and 1998, it belonged to the Poznań Voivodeship. The municipality covers an area of 132.59 km², of which 59% is agricultural land and 31% is forested, indicating a significant presence of nature in the region. In 2014, the municipality had an age pyramid, and the population reflects a demographically diverse community. Among other localities within the municipality are Lulin, Młyniewo, and several forest settlements such as Porażynko, Sworzyce, and Zwierzyniec. It borders several municipalities, including Granowo, Kamieniec, Nowy Tomyśl, Opalenica, and Rakoniewice, highlighting its location in the attractive landscape of Greater Poland.
