The Roman Catholic Parish of the Holy Trinity in Fałków is one of the eight parishes of the Przedbórz deanery in the Radom diocese. Its history dates back to the 12th century, when Fałków was owned by the bishops of Kraków. In 1340, Casimir the Great granted the town city rights, which were lost in the 16th century. The oldest wooden church in Fałków was recorded as early as the 11th century, and a brick church was built in the 14th century, with its consecration taking place in 1325. In 1420, a new church dedicated to the Holy Trinity and the Apostles Matthew and Matthias was built, funded by the heirs of Fałków. The parish was established at that time, and in 1603 the church was consecrated by Bishop Gniazdowski. In 1774, the temple was largely destroyed by fire but was restored at the end of the 18th century and again in 1846. Another consecration took place in 1897. During World War I, the church was again destroyed, and a temporary wooden chapel was built in its place. The current church was constructed between 1929 and 1935 on the initiative of priests Jan Dąbrowski and Wacław Wypyski, according to a design by architect Oskar Sosnowski. During World War II, the temple was severely damaged, but after the war, thanks to the efforts of Father Roman Ścisłowski, it was thoroughly renovated between 1947 and 1954, and consecrated by Bishop Jan Kanty Lorek. Further restoration work was carried out between 1974 and 1975, and in 1982 a fire broke out, destroying the main altar and damaging some of the statues. The altar was renovated, and the statues and paintings were restored between 1983 and 1986. Architecturally, the church is built of stone and has the shape of an elongated ellipse, with two towers styled in the Romanesque fashion. The parish includes several localities, such as Budy, Bulianów, Dąbrowa, Kołoniec, Olszamowice, Pląskowice, and others. The parish and its history are an important part of the local culture, and the church is a significant focal point for the community.
