wikipedia
The Deanery of Jarosław II in the Archdiocese of Przemyśl, which is part of the Jarosław Archpresbyterate, comprises a number of parishes, each distinct in terms of both architecture and culture. The history of the deanery dates back to 1971, when Bishop Ignacy Tokarczuk divided the Jarosław Deanery into two parts: Jarosław West and Jarosław East. The dean of the Jarosław II Deanery is Fr. Andrzej Surowiec. The deanery includes several parishes, such as the parish of Chłopice, with its Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and Jankowice, with its filial church dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. In Jarosław itself, there are also parishes dedicated to Christ the King, Divine Mercy, and the Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of Poland, all of which represent valuable architectural assets of the region. In Morawska, the Church of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary stands out, while in Munina, the Church of St. Joseph attracts attention with its architecture and history. In Tuczempy, the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is also noteworthy. Additionally, the presence of religious congregations in the area deserves mention, such as the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate (Starowiejska branch) and the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, who have been active in Jarosław since 1874, as well as in Chłopice and Munina. This rich religious and cultural heritage is an integral part of the local identity of the residents and contributes to the preservation of traditions and social values. Parish communities, in addition to religious practice, organize a variety of cultural and social events, which impact the lives of local communities and foster a passion for cooperation. Thus, the Jarosław II Deanery is a place where history, culture, and spirituality intertwine into a harmonious whole, making a rich contribution to the life of the archdiocese and the region.
