Kunów

Kunów is an urban-rural municipality in Poland, with its seat located in the town of the same name. It is situated in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within the Ostrowiec County. Its history dates back to 1870, when the municipality was known as Nietulisko. Between 1975 and 1998, it was administratively part of the Kielce Voivodeship. The municipality covers an area of 113.73 km², of which 50% is agricultural land and 43% is forested, contributing to the region's rich biodiversity and natural environment.
