Ostrowiec County, located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, was established in 1999. Its capital is the city of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, and the county includes urban, urban-rural, and rural municipalities, such as Ćmielów, Kunów, Bałtów, Bodzechów, and Waśniów.
