wikipedia
Lasocin Palace, located in the Lubusz Voivodeship, Nowa Sól County, is a historic residence built between 1679 and 1689 by Jan Rudolf von Landskron. The structure features a rectangular layout with short side wings and a Baroque façade inspired by architectural solutions used in the palace in Żagań. The front of the building is adorned with a decorative portal that leads to the entrance, above which lies a balcony with an ornate, openwork balustrade. Particularly noteworthy are the coat of arms of Jan Ferdinand Kager, Count von Globen, placed above the doors, and the dormer window in the roof equipped with a clock. The von Globen family played a significant role in the palace’s history, carrying out its first major renovation in the 18th century. After the death of Lewin August von Dingelstedt, who passed away without heirs, the estate was inherited by his nephew. In the mid-19th century, a Neo-Gothic clock tower was added. The palace changed hands multiple times over the years and, in 1910, became the property of Maximilian von Prittwitz und Gaffron, whose family implemented further modifications, including the removal of the tower. After World War II, the palace was repurposed for use by the State Agricultural Farm. Following the farm’s dissolution, the property passed into private ownership and is currently undergoing renovation. An interesting detail is that the clock above the balcony and the family coats of arms remain important architectural elements, reflecting the rich and layered history of this remarkable place.
