Kożuchów is an urban-rural municipality located in the Lubuskie Voivodeship, within the Nowa Sól County, with the town of Kożuchów serving as its administrative seat. The municipality covers an area of 179.18 km², a significant portion of which consists of agricultural land (63.98%) and forests (27.97%). As of the end of 2021, the population of the municipality was 15,770. Kożuchów, with its rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, boasts impressive architecture, including historic buildings such as the 16th-century parish church and the ruins of a castle, which form part of the local cultural heritage.
