Lower Ochotnica

Ochotnica Dolna is a rural municipality located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, within the Nowy Targ County. It covers an area of 141.03 km², of which 39% is agricultural land and 58% is forested. In 2004, the municipality was inhabited by 7,877 people. Between 1975 and 1998, it was part of the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship, and its administrative seat is in Ochotnica Dolna. Historically, it is worth noting that before 1954, the municipality was named Ochotnica.
