The Lubaczów Commune, located in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship within the Lubaczów County, borders Ukraine, and its administrative seat is the town of Lubaczów. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune belonged to the Przemyśl Voivodeship. According to data from June 30, 2004, the commune had a population of 9,155, with the largest settlements by population being Lisie Jamy, Basznia Dolna, and Młodów. The commune covers an area of 202.86 km², of which 57% is agricultural land and 35% is forested land. A relatively significant portion of the commune, 15.5%, accounts for the total area of Lubaczów County. In demographic terms, the age structure of the inhabitants is characteristic of the commune, as reflected in the population pyramid created based on 2014 data.
