wikipedia
The Miniature Temple Park in Myczkowce, located within the Caritas Diocesan Center for Recreation and Rehabilitation of the Rzeszów Diocese, was opened in October 2007 as the St. John Paul II Center for Ecumenical Culture. The park features 140 miniature wooden churches and temples of the Catholic, Greek Catholic, and Orthodox rites, crafted on a 1:25 scale. The models are based on actual churches from Poland, Ukraine, and Slovakia, designed by Janusz Kulig and Norbert Piekarski. The exhibition is organized according to the geographical distribution of the ethnographic groups—Dolinians, Pogórzans, Boykos, and Lemkos—highlighting the diversity of sacral architecture in the region. The park is open year-round, daily, and visitors can enjoy additional attractions such as a horse stable, a mini-zoo, and a Biblical Garden. Admission is charged, which supports the park’s maintenance and further development. This unique place not only promotes wooden architecture but also holds cultural and educational significance, encouraging exploration of local traditions and history.
