Mosina is an urban-rural municipality in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, located in the southern part of the Poznań County, forming part of the Poznań agglomeration. The municipality comprises 21 village districts, with its seat in the town of Mosina. Its area is 170.87 km², of which 49% is agricultural land and 38% is forest land. The 2009 demographic data of the municipality indicates a diverse age pyramid among its residents. The region also includes smaller localities such as Kubalin, Głuszyna Leśna, and Baranowo. Mosina is rich in tourist attractions, including an architectural monument – the Raczyński Palace, and the Church of St. Marcellinus in Rogalin, which houses the Raczyński Mausoleum. Other points of interest include the Church of St. Nicholas, the municipal gallery, the "Elegant from Mosina" monument, as well as the Rogalin Landscape Park and the Wielkopolski National Park. In 2021, the Rogalin Ways of the Holy Spirit were established – a network of pilgrimage trails promoting prayer, physical activity, and ecotourism. The trails connect nine localities and aim to foster spiritual values, appreciation of nature, and the protection of local ecosystems.
