Łapy is an urban-rural municipality located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, within Białystok County, with its administrative seat in Łapy. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality was part of the Białystok Voivodeship. As of June 30, 2012, it had a population of 22,652.
