Pomiechówek is a rural commune located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within the Nowy Dwór County, approximately 40 kilometers north of Warsaw. Its administrative seat is the town of Pomiechówek, situated on the Wkra River. The commune was established before 1952 under the name Pomiechowo Commune. From 1975 to 1998, it was part of the Warsaw Voivodeship. The commune covers an area of about 102.31 km², of which 55% is agricultural land and 32% is forested, making it an area of significant natural value. According to demographic data, the population was 8,816 in 2004 and increased to 9,106 by 2017. The commune comprises several village administrations, including notable ones such as Brody, Pomiechów, and Nowy Modlin. It borders other communes like Nasielsk, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, and Serock, providing residents and tourists with easy access to neighboring attractions.
