The Reszel Commune, located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in Kętrzyn County, boasts a rich history and unique architectural values. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune was part of the Olsztyn Voivodeship. According to data from 2019, the commune is inhabited by 7,488 people, a significant portion of whom are urban residents. The commune covers an area of 178.71 km², of which 71% is agricultural land and 14% is forested, making it attractive for nature lovers and agritourism.
