wikipedia
The Coastal Landscape Park, established in 1978 in northern Poland, stretches from Białogóra to the Hel Peninsula and also includes Puck Bay. Its area covers 188.04 km², with a buffer zone of 175.40 km². The park is characterized by diverse coastal types, including unique raised bogs. More than half of the area is covered by forests, mainly pine forests, and at Cape Rozewie, there is a beech forest reserve. The park's flora and fauna are exceptional – you can spot species such as gulls, buzzards, and ruffs, while the bay's waters are rich in algae, crustaceans, and fish. Puck Bay is also a habitat for the gray seal. Within the park and its buffer zone, there are numerous nature reserves, such as Beka, Białogóra, and Słone Łąki, as well as natural monuments like the Twelve Apostles. The park features interesting architectural structures, such as the lighthouses in Rozewie and Hel, which serve as important landmarks and tourist attractions. Among the cultural highlights are local maritime traditions and the rich wildlife. This region is not only a haven for nature enthusiasts but also a place where one can discover the beauty of coastal architecture and local traditions.
