The Urzędów Hills are a physiographic mesoregion that stretches northwest to southeast in the southwestern part of the Lublin Upland. This range of hills, reaching up to 295 meters above sea level, is a natural extension of the Roztocze. Surrounded by lower-lying areas, the region borders the Vistula River valley to the west and the Sanna River valley to the south, which marks the northern boundary of the Biłgoraj Plain. The diverse topography, including loess gullies, and the picturesque Wyżnica River give this area a unique natural character. The Urzędów Hills are also a place of rich history and culture, with numerous traces of human activity over the centuries, making it an interesting destination for tourists seeking both outdoor adventures and the discovery of local traditions and architecture. This region certainly attracts interest with its unique terrain and natural richness.
