Wodzisław Śląski, a city located in southern Poland in the Silesian Voivodeship, is characterized by a rich history dating back to the 13th century when it was founded. Thanks to its strategic location on the Lesznica River, Wodzisław became an important mining and industrial center. The city boasts a wealth of architectural heritage, including a historic market square and the Dietrichstein Palace, which now houses a regional museum. It is worth noting the 14th-century Holy Trinity Church, the oldest building in the city, which previously belonged to the Franciscans.
