The Bóbr Valley Landscape Park, located in Lower Silesia, encompasses municipalities such as Jelenia Góra, Jeżów Sudecki, Lubomierz, Lwówek Śląski, Stara Kamienica, Świerzawa, and Wleń. The park covers an area of 10,943 hectares, 32% of which is forested. Within the park lies the highest peak, Siedlęcinka (495 meters above sea level), while in its buffer zone stands Wapienna Hill (505 meters above sea level). The park and its surroundings are crisscrossed by approximately 100 kilometers of hiking trails, including two long-distance routes: the blue International E3 Trail and the green Trail of the Piast Castles, making it an attractive destination for hiking enthusiasts. The main trail hub is Pilchowice, situated near the water dam. The park also protects 8 natural monuments and the nature reserve "Góra Zamkowa" in the municipality of Wleń, established to preserve valuable plant species and cultural heritage sites. Designated in 1994, the reserve covers 21 hectares. The area also includes Natura 2000 sites, such as those in the Lwówek Śląski municipality, highlighting the region's natural richness. Additionally, the park offers various cycling routes, including the Euroregional Tourist Cycling Route "Bóbr Valley" and the Jelenia Góra Cycling Bypass, enhancing its appeal to cyclists. Thanks to its natural values and numerous tourist attractions, the Bóbr Valley is a significant destination in Lower Silesia, combining beautiful landscapes, rich history, and cultural elements.
