Bolków

Bolków is an urban-rural municipality located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, within Jawor County, with the town of Bolków serving as its administrative seat. Geographically, the municipality covers an area of 152.85 km², dominated by agricultural land, which constitutes 62% of the territory, followed by forested areas at 29%, rural zones at 4%, and the urban area of Bolków itself accounting for 5%. The municipality plays a significant role in Jawor County, occupying 26.3% of its total area. The region features several tourist trails, including the red trail starting from Złotoryja, the green trail as part of the Trail of the Piast Castles, and the blue trail connecting Chełmiec with Lipa and Mysłów.
