The Parish of the Body of God in Jarosław, located in the Przemyśl Archdiocese, is an integral part of the Jarosław deanery and boasts a rich history and cultural tradition. It was established on the basis of one of the oldest Catholic parishes in the area, dating back to the 12th century, when a wooden church of St. Nicholas was built. In 1473, a new brick church dedicated to All Saints was erected, which was the first collegiate church in the Przemyśl diocese. Another significant structure, the current Church of the Body of God, was built between 1582 and 1594 by the Jesuits in the Renaissance style, designed by architect Józef Briccius. After the dissolution of the Jesuits, it was handed over as a parish church. An interesting fact is that the church houses the image of Our Lady of the Snows – Queen of Families, which is held in special veneration. Its coronation took place in 2014 on the Jarosław market square, with the participation of numerous faithful and bishops. The parish organizes an annual feast on August 5, attended by church hierarchs, and to this day, it is home to approximately 7,800 believers. In 2018, the Public Catholic General Secondary School named after Anna Jenke was launched in the building of the former Jesuit school, enriching the parish's educational offerings. There are also plans to build a new branch church, demonstrating the dynamic development of the community.
