The municipality of Krempna, located in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, in Jasło County, covers an area of 203.58 km², of which 72% is forest land and 25% is agricultural land. The seat of the municipality is the village of Krempna, which, according to data from June 30, 2004, was inhabited by 1,976 people. The municipality of Krempna, which also includes villages such as Grab, Kotań, Myscowa, Ożenna, Polany, and Świątkowa Mała and Wielka, is rich in history and culture. Over the centuries, it has witnessed many changes, and from 1975 to 1998, it belonged to the Krosno Voivodeship. Architecturally, the region is characterized by traditional wooden buildings, typical of this area, which reflect the local construction culture.
