Ochota Deanery

The Ochota Deanery, one of the 25 deaneries of the Archdiocese of Warsaw, comprises 7 parishes and spans the areas of Wilanów and Ochota. The Parish of St. James the Apostle stands out not only architecturally but also historically, being one of the oldest churches in the region, with roots dating back to the Middle Ages. Meanwhile, the Parish of Our Lady Queen of the World, modernized and featuring distinctive architecture, attracts both local worshippers and tourists. The Parish of St. Francis of Assisi, surrounded by a beautiful garden, serves not only as a place of religious symbolism but also as an ideal venue for meetings and cultural events, hosting exhibitions and concerts. The Parish of Divine Providence, known for its modern style, blends tradition with contemporary elements, as reflected in its architecture. The Annunciation of the Lord, with its picturesque interiors and rich decorations, is a site for many joyful ceremonies, such as baptisms and weddings. The Parish of St. Gregory the Great, adorned with beautiful frescoes and décor, is a significant hub for the local community, organizing various events, including parish festivals. Meanwhile, the Parish of St. Luigi Orione, deeply embedded in the deanery's history, is characterized by its distinctive approach to social outreach, focusing on helping those in need. Interestingly, some of the deanery's churches host regular sacred music concerts, attracting music lovers from all over Warsaw.
