Przemkowski Landscape Park, established on June 7, 1997, is located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, covering areas within the Polkowice and Bolesławiec counties. It spans an area of 22,338 hectares, with a buffer zone of 37,807 hectares. The park lies within four mesoregions: the Szprotawa Plain, the Lubin Upland (Chocianów Hills), the Lower Silesian Wilderness, and the Legnica Plain (Czarna Woda Valley). It features a diverse landscape of lowland valleys and accumulation plains, with areas including valleys, old moraines, kames, and eskers. The park serves as a sanctuary for 18 strictly protected plant species, such as common periwinkle, English ivy, and white water lilies. Within the park, there are four nature reserves, including the Przemków Ponds, which serve a faunal function. Przemkowski Landscape Park is also involved in fauna reclamation, implementing a program to reintroduce the European ground squirrel. The park features two educational trails: the Forests Around Przemków and the Kozłowska Desert, which promote environmental education. The highest point in the park is the Wilkocin Dune, reaching 187.4 meters above sea level, while the lowest point is located along the Szprotawa River, at 128.7 meters above sea level. The park is also home to natural monuments, including the oldest ones such as the Chrobry Oak and the Wernyhora Oak. Przemkowski Landscape Park combines a rich natural heritage with ongoing efforts in environmental conservation and ecological education.
