Radzyń Chełmiński Deanery

The Radzyń Chełmiński Deanery is one of 24 deaneries within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Toruń. Its history dates back to the time when it was part of the Chełmno Diocese, based in Pelplin. In 1992, following the reorganization of the Church structures in Poland, the deanery came under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Toruń. Its current boundaries were established at the turn of 2001 and 2002. The deanery encompasses numerous parishes that play a significant role in the life of local communities, both in religious and cultural terms. These parishes often serve not only as places of worship but also as venues for various social and cultural events, highlighting their importance in the daily lives of residents. Many of them feature interesting architectural elements, often reflecting local traditions and the history of the region.
