Tuchola Landscape Park

Tucholski Landscape Park, established in 1985, covers an area of 36,983 hectares and is located mainly in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian and Pomeranian voivodeships. Its hydrographic axis is the Brda River, which is distinguished by numerous gorges and meanders. Around the river, on the Brda Sandur, pine forests dominate, creating a picturesque and diverse environment. Since 2010, the park has been part of the buffer zone of the Bory Tucholskie Biosphere Reserve, highlighting its ecological significance. The park's area in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship is 256.60 km², with a buffer zone of 120.59 km², while in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, the park covers 113.23 km² with a buffer zone of 38.87 km². The park is home to numerous nature reserves, including Cisy nad Czerską Strugą, Ustronie, Bagna nad Stążką, Bagno Grzybna, and Dolina Rzeki Brdy, which aim to protect unique ecosystems and plant species. The park is a place rich in culture and history, being part of the Kashubian region, known for its ethnic diversity and rich folk traditions.
