The Brwinów Deanery is one of the 25 Roman Catholic deaneries of the Archdiocese of Warsaw, which is part of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Warsaw. It encompasses six parishes located in five towns: Brwinów, Otrębusy, Podkowa Leśna, and Milanówek. Architecturally, these parishes showcase a variety of styles that reflect the evolution of sacred architecture over the centuries. The Church of St. Florian in Brwinów is an example of 20th-century architecture, while the neo-Gothic Church of St. Christopher in Podkowa Leśna reflects historical trends in religious construction. Culturally, each parish organizes a variety of events, such as festivals, concerts, and retreats, which integrate the local community and promote Christian values. The history of this deanery is rich, rooted in the Catholic traditions of the region that date back to the Middle Ages. Interestingly, Podkowa Leśna, known as a garden city, attracts not only residents but also tourists, and the Church of St. Christopher is an important landmark on the cultural map of the town. Milanówek is home to two parishes: St. Hedwig of Silesia and Our Lady of Sorrows, both of which are highly valued by the local community. Thanks to diverse initiatives, the Brwinów Deanery has become a space where tradition, history, and contemporary social life intersect.
