Czernichów Deanery

The Czernichów Deanery, one of the 45 deaneries in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kraków, comprises 13 parishes. Among them, the Parish of the Holy Family in Balice stands out, known for its beautiful architecture and rich history tied to the local community. The Parish of the Most Holy Trinity in Czernichów is another significant site, deeply rooted in the Catholic traditions of the region. The Pastoral Center of Our Lady of Providence in Czułów, although not a full-fledged parish, plays a significant pastoral role, attracting the faithful with its activities. The Parish of Our Lady Queen of Poland in Dąbrowa Szlachecka and the Parish of Divine Mercy in Jeziorzany are distinguished by unique events that reflect local culture and traditions. In Kamień, the Parish of the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary is involved not only in pastoral work but also in social activities that integrate residents. Kaszów, with its Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary, becomes a venue for numerous religious celebrations that bring generations together. St. Nicholas in Liszki and St. Brother Albert in Mników are other important parishes that participate in the cultural life of the region, organizing diverse events ranging from festivals to pilgrimages. The Parish of St. Bartholomew the Apostle in Morawica and Our Lady Help of Christians in Nowa Wieś Szlachecka are places where local community gatherings are held, promoting Christian values and shared time. The Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Rączna and the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Rusocice also play vital roles in the region, with their activities reflecting dynamic religious life. The Parish of St. Casimir in Rybna, in turn, boasts interesting initiatives that build bonds among the faithful. The deanery borders other deaneries such as Babice, Bolechowice, Kraków-Bronowice, Kraków-Salwator, Krzeszowice, Skawina, Wadowice-Północ, and Zator, creating opportunities for cooperation and the exchange of experiences. Interestingly, many of these parishes participate in ecumenical programs, organizing joint events with other denominations, which contributes to building local community and understanding.
