The Międzyrzecza Warty i Widawki Landscape Park, established in 1989 in the Łódź Voivodeship, covers an area of 25,330 hectares and spans the border regions of the Łask, Wieluń, Zduńska Wola, Sieradz, and Bełchatów counties. Its main attractions are the valleys of the Warta and Widawka rivers and their tributaries, featuring picturesque gorges, ravines, and oxbow lakes. In the central part of the park, several rivers converge, making it an interesting hydrographic node. The diverse terrain, including steep slopes reaching up to 45 meters, and rich plant habitats such as peat bogs, dune areas, and wetlands, attract nature enthusiasts and tourists. Forests cover just under 25% of the park's total area but contribute to its rich flora and fauna, making it ecologically valuable. The park includes four nature reserves: "Winnica," "Korzeń," "Hołda," and "Grabica," as well as numerous ecological sites and landscape-nature complexes, such as "Dolina Grabi" and "Góry Wapienne." Combining natural and cultural values, the park is one of the most attractive areas in central Poland. It is also worth noting that, besides its natural assets, the region holds historical significance, and the local culture, intertwined with the rivers and surrounding landscape, adds to its unique character.
