Sierakowski Landscape Park is a protected area established on August 12, 1991, located in the western part of the Greater Poland Voivodeship. The park encompasses a nature-rich post-glacial landscape characterized by moraine hills, lakes, and extensive forests. It is noteworthy that water bodies cover over 7% of the park's area, with Lake Śremskie being one of the deepest in the region at 45 meters, making it a cryptodepression. Sierakowski Park includes five nature reserves that protect unique ecosystems, home to 216 species of birds and numerous fauna such as roe deer, wild boars, and beavers. The park's flora is equally rich, featuring rare species including orchids and sundews. It serves as an important site for bird conservation, including many rare species, highlighting its ecological significance. The park also boasts valuable natural monuments, such as oak and plane trees, adding to its cultural value.
