The Jaśliski Landscape Park is a charming park located in the eastern part of the Low Beskids, covering an area of 258.78 km². It serves as a protected area for the upper basin of the Jasiołka River and the headwaters of the Wisłok River, with forest cover accounting for 55% of its territory. The park borders the Magura National Park and the "Eastern Carpathians" Protected Landscape Area in Slovakia. Its highest point is Kamień nad Jaśliskami, reaching an altitude of 857 meters above sea level.
The region boasts rich flora and fauna, featuring forests of Carpathian beech and natural stands of common yew and Polish larch. It is inhabited by predatory mammals such as wolves, lynxes, and wildcats, as well as numerous birds of prey like hawks and buzzards. The park also preserves valuable remnants of Lemko culture, including traces of villages abandoned after the "Vistula" operation, former Orthodox church sites, and cemeteries.
On the slopes of Kamień, historical sandstone quarries can be found, which were exploited as early as the 15th century. Notable places to visit include the village of Jaśliska and the open-air museum in Zyndranowa, as well as nature reserves such as Wadernik and Modrzyna, which protect unique ecosystems. The Jaśliski Landscape Park is also an area with limited tourist development, making it an ideal destination for nature and history enthusiasts.
