Mława County

Mława County, located in the northern part of the Masovian Voivodeship, was established in 1999 as a result of administrative reform. Its seat is the town of Mława, which serves as the administrative and cultural center of the region. The county is surrounded by several neighboring counties, including Przasnysz, Ciechanów, Płońsk, Żuromin, and two counties from the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship: Działdowo and Nidzica. The county consists of urban and rural municipalities: Mława, Dzierzgowo, Lipowiec Kościelny, Radzanów, Strzegowo, Stupsk, Szreńsk, Szydłowo, Wieczfnia Kościelna, and Wiśniewo. Demographically, in 2019, it had a population of 72,626, and according to 2020 data, 72,448 people.
