Koszalin County, established in 1999 as part of the administrative reform, is located in northwestern Poland, within the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Its seat is the city of Koszalin, which is not part of the county itself. The county is situated in a picturesque area, encompassing the Słowińskie Coast, the Białogard Plain, and the Słupsk Plain, attracting tourists with its extensive recreational infrastructure, especially in the coastal commune of Mielno.
